be greeted and assist by a representative.

Ramalingam installed by Lord Rama.


Cultural Wonders in Dambulla


Afternoon: Visit the Sigiriya Lion Rock, a UNESCO World
Heritage site famous for its ancient frescoes and panoramic
views.


Time Required: 2-3 hours.


Evening: Explore the Dambulla Cave Temple, known for its
stunning Buddha statues and vibrant cave paintings.

Morning: Transfer to Nuwaraeliya (6 hours: 175 Km).

of Buddha’s tooth.

Located in Seetha Eliya, this temple is dedicated to Sita Devi,
where she is believed to have been held captive by King
Ravana.

3. Ashok Vatika (Hakgala Botanical Garden)


The Hakgala Botanical Garden is believed to be the Ashok
Vatika where Sita was held.
It is a serene location with lush greenery and exotic plants.

Kelaniya Vibhishana Temple (Buddhist Temple) – Ramayana
states that after the death of King Ravana , King Vibhishana
was crowned by Lakshmana . So Kelaniya Vibhishana
Temple is the place which had been ruled by Vibhishana.
