Anyway, according to locals who are around, this is where Hanuman rested during his search for Sita.
Whereas you can stand there for a moment and imagine the mighty monkey god that was here back in time, where it gives you chills, even by staying there.
Moving on, later, you can visit Divurumpola Temple.
Speaking of which, this is another site linked to the Ramayana, specifically the “Agni Pariksha” episode where Sita proved her purity by walking through fire.
